01 Principle of vacuum blood collection

The principle of vacuum blood collection is to draw the blood collection tube with head cover into different vacuum degrees in advance, and use its negative pressure to automatically collect venous blood samples quantitatively. One end of the blood collection needle is inserted into the human vein and the other end is inserted into the rubber plug of the vacuum blood collection tube. The human venous blood is drawn into the blood container through the blood collection needle in the vacuum collection tube under the action of negative pressure. Multi-tube collection can be achieved without leakage under a single venipuncture.

02 Structure of vacuum blood collection tubes

The  vacuum blood collection tubes consists of a safety head cover, butyl rubber stopper, glass or PET test tube, label, additives and add-ons.

◊Safety head cover:The vacuum blood collection tubes made of polyethylene material PE by injection molding, in order to distinguish different types of blood tubes, generally use different colors to mark.

◊Butyl rubber stopper:The vacuum blood collection tubes made of butyl rubber and filler by high temperature vulcanization and demoulding.

◊Test tube:The vacuum blood collection tubes made of neutral glass or PET material.

◊Labels: Printed according to the additive category and the corresponding color code, generally made of self-adhesive synthetic paper, ordinary paper or transparent materials.

◊Additives: mainly anticoagulants or coagulants, mainly in liquid or dry powder state.
